Mini Biodegradable Eco-friendly Journey Purple Cremation Urn
The Journey Biodegradable Urn offers a refined and eco-conscious option for water burial. Made from sustainably sourced, biodegradable paper, each urn is carefully hand-crafted and accented with delicate embossing, a decorative paper band, and natural petal inlays. Designed to perform naturally in water, the urn will float briefly before gently descending, where it gradually breaks down over time.
Each urn arrives fully assembled and is available in a wide selection of 21 colors and designs to suit personal preferences. Coordinating mini urns are offered in every design, making them ideal for keepsakes or for dividing cremated remains among multiple biodegradable containers. Select Green and Natural designs are also available in a medium size.
Because every Journey Urn is handmade, slight variations in appearance are to be expected, adding to the uniqueness of each piece. These urns comply with federal requirements for burial at sea, as they are fully biodegradable. Please note that regulations also specify that sea burials must take place at least three nautical miles from shore.
Sizing Guide
Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200-pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger. However, if you have a certain size urn, most funeral homes can make certain adjustments to accommodate that size urn, within reason.
