The item you are looking at is our Number 016-22956, a small/keepsake sized, multi-colored raku ceramic cremation urn.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that this urn is made of RAKU pottery/ceramic, there is no way to create a threaded, screw-on, sealing lid. This lid is a plug style, and to create a permanent seal, we recommend using a small amount of adhesive, such as carpenter’s glue, crazy glue, or other type of adhesive, to create a strong, permanent bond between the lid and the urn base. We do NOT include the adhesive with the urn, but you can use pretty much any strong adhesive to seal it. Please contact us with any questions.

This Cremation Urn is hand crafted through a fascinating and delicate process. A ceramic urn is heated to 2000 degrees and then it is pulled out carefully and placed into a pit of wood shavings setting them alight. Overnight the urn will smolder and what comes out is an urn filled with beautiful flashes of color. No two Raku Urns are exactly alike. Each is topped with a unique sticks and stones adornment.
These urns are handmade and fired individually. There are variations and imperfections in the color which make this one of a kind urn beautiful.

Sizing Guide
Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200 pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger. However, if you have a certain size urn, most funeral homes can make certain adjustments to accommodate that size urn, within reason.
