Vault Dimensions: This vault is meant to hold a single cremation urn made of metal, wood, or other materials. The exterior dimensions of this product are 16 inches long x 12 inches deep x 9 inches high. The interior dimensions are 14.75 inches long x 10.75 inches deep x 6.75 to 9 inches high. The variation in internal height is because it is a domed lid.

Know your loved one’s ashes will be safe when laid to rest. Families who plan to bury an urn in a cemetery are often required to enclose and seal the urn into a separate urn vault. The primary purpose of the urn vault is to protect the urn from the weight of the earth and any heavy cemetery maintenance equipment.
CREATED FOR EARTH BURIAL: The Blue Urn Vault is a sturdy container designed to hold a single cremation urn that is intended for burial. Any type of urn can be placed in the vault. Other small mementos can be included in this container if desired.
Sizing Guide
Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200-pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger. However, if you have a certain size urn, most funeral homes can make certain adjustments to accommodate that size urn, within reason.
