The Fortress Urn Vault in Gold is a durable and thoughtfully designed container made to securely hold a single cremation urn for burial, with space to include small keepsakes if desired. Constructed from high-quality, lightweight polymer, it features tongue and groove construction that enhances strength and provides a secure, reliable seal. For added protection, a watertight sealant is included to help safeguard the contents from moisture and external elements. The exterior is finished in a rich gold tone for a dignified appearance, while the interior is lined with soft burgundy velour, offering a classic and elegant presentation.
WHEN TO USE AN URN VAULT: If a family has selected a brass urn, wood urn, or similar traditional urns, then the use of a separate urn vault is preferred. Know your loved one’s ashes will be safe when laid to rest. Families who plan to bury an urn in a cemetery are often required to enclose and seal the urn into a separate urn vault. The primary purpose of the urn vault is to protect the urn from the weight of the earth and any heavy cemetery maintenance equipment.
CREATED FOR EARTH BURIAL: The Fortress Urn Vault is a sturdy container designed to hold a single cremation urn that is intended for burial. Any type of urn can be placed in the vault. Other small mementos can be included in this container if desired.
MADE OF PLASTIC: The urn vault is constructed from superior grade lightweight plastic and features tongue and groove construction for maximum strength and sealing capabilities. This urn vault also comes with a watertight sealant for added protection. This vault has a top load pressure of 2929 lbf.
Sizing Guide
Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200-pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger. However, if you have a certain size urn, most funeral homes can make certain adjustments to accommodate that size urn, within reason.
