Small/Keepsake Biodegradable Ecofriendly Gourd Funeral Cremation Urn
The Handcrafted in the desert Southwest of the United States, these Gourd Urns are natural works of art created by skilled local artisans. Each urn is grown and shaped by nature, resulting in one-of-a-kind variations in color, size, and finish. Designed with a top-loading opening, the urn securely closes with a cork topped by ornamental driftwood, adding a rustic and organic touch.
Both the Adult and Mini Gourd Urns include a cast bronze Memorial Pendant featuring the symbolic “Tree of Life” design. The pendant hangs gracefully from the driftwood top by a simple leather cord and may be engraved on the back for personalization. Crafted from 25g cast bronze, the pendant adds a meaningful and lasting tribute to each urn.
Additional matching “Tree of Life” Memorial Medallions are available separately for families wishing to create a coordinated memorial. Over time, the bronze elements will naturally oxidize and develop a unique patina. Because each gourd is entirely natural and handmade, variations are expected and celebrated, ensuring that no two urns are ever exactly alike.
Sizing Guide
Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200-pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger. However, if you have a certain size urn, most funeral homes can make certain adjustments to accommodate that size urn, within reason.
